May the light dawn for us all. May the sun’s beautiful rays warm us all. I wouldn’t want to enjoy the light while shutting you out from its eternal beauty. I wouldn’t want to feel the comfort and warmth of the sun, while restricting you to the freezing tundra. I wouldn’t want the good if it meant keeping you out, for though my body will be basking by the heath, my mind and soul would be out there, with you, frozen in the cold.
And I’d be the coldest of us twain, for I’ll be cold in the worst possible place where the warmest blankets, and the most furnished fireplaces couldn’t reach- my soul. My soul will freeze out for foolishly trying to leave you out. Cold. For you and me. Life’s blessings are best shared and the sharing increases the blessedness. God bless us all.
